There is severe fire and smoke damage throughout the building.
The fire appears to have started in bedroom 1 as the flooring has been charred. It spread up the walls and into the ceiling. There is extensive damage including the wall linings and wall framing and the ceiling and roof timbers, which are badly charred. Some roof truss, ceiling joists and purlins have completely disintegrated over bedrooms 1 and 3.
Client’s Challenge
The building has had major damage to the exterior of bedroom 3. The timber roofing structure has been severely charred and will require replacement. The timber joinery, firbecement exterior cladding, soffits and spouting will also require replacement.
